When organizations choose the path of continuous improvement, the focus shifts from individual projects and quick wins to long-term changes in organizational culture. This is exactly what we see today as we reflect on the more than decade-long improvement journey of Volfas Engelman.
We are especially pleased to look back on the beginning of this story. Ten years ago, we took the first steps of the LEAN and Kaizen journey together, seeking ways to increase operational efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen employee engagement. Even at that early stage, some production lines achieved efficiency improvements of around 30%.
What is even more rewarding is that today we are not talking about a one-time project, but about a sustainable culture of continuous improvement. Over the past decade, Volfas Engelman employees have submitted more than 1,500 Kaizen ideas, the majority of which have been implemented. These results clearly demonstrate that the most significant organizational changes happen when improvement becomes an integral part of everyday work.

We sincerely congratulate Marius Horbačauskas and the entire Volfas Engelman team on reaching this important milestone. We are proud to have contributed to the beginning of this journey and wish them continued success in strengthening their culture of continuous improvement in the years ahead.
